Background
A husband and proud father of 3 young adults, I have a B.Comm and B.A (Economics) from McMaster University and a LL.B from Queen's University. That combination of business knowledge, economic awareness and legal skill enabled me to understand the needs of my business clients, advise on their strategies and find solutions to their problems quickly, efficiently and always with a smile.
Away from the office, I enjoy hiking, biking and playing hockey.

- Integral to development of Sun Life business extensions - employment rollover, pension de-risking, and digital health
- Winner of the Canadian General Counsel, Purdy Crawford Dealmaker of the Year Award in 2016 for the Bell Canada/Sun Life Longevity Insurance transaction
- Past chair of the National Policy Committee of the Association of Canadian Pension Management and the Group Retirement Services Committee of the Canadian Life & Health Insurance Association; former member of the Strategic Advisory Committee (Pensions) of Financial Services Regulatory Authority (Ontario) and the Advisory Board of the National Institute on Ageing at Ryerson University
